Cake Portions

The portion guide below may be helpful when deciding what size cake is required for your celebration.  Please bear in mind that this is only a guide and it gives approximate servings based on the wedding cake standard of 1" x 1" portions of fruit cake and 1" x 2" portions of sponge cake.

Remember that, if you require standard dessert size portions of sponge cake, then you need to allow for more cake!
